Gourmand ist eine der jüngeren Duftfamilien der Parfümerie – erst in den 1990er Jahren entwickelte sich diese Richtung zu einer eigenständigen Kategorie. Sie verdankt ihren Namen dem französischen Begriff für Genießer und hat seitdem eine treue, weltweit wachsende Anhängerschaft gewonnen. Was Gourmand-Düfte definiert, ist die Nähe zur essbaren Welt: Sie riechen nach Vanille, Karamell, Kakao, Honig, Mandeln – nach allem, was Erinnerungen an Wärme, Geborgenheit und Freude weckt.

Dabei geht es nicht um Imitation. Ein guter Gourmand-Duft riecht nicht wie ein Kuchen im Ofen oder wie Zuckerwatte auf dem Rummelplatz.
